Dear Scientific Committee members,

We are happy to announce that the East Asian Architectural Culture International Conference (EAAC 2011) will be held in the National University of Singapore from 12 to 14 May 2011. The theme of this conference is “South of East Asia: Re-addressing East Asian Architecture and Urbanism.” Four paper sessions and one poster session will be organized in this 3-day event. The sub-themes for the paper sessions include: 1) Diffusion vs Fusion: Re-examining Architectural and Urban Communication; 2) Tradition vs Modernity: Re-thinking Architectural and Urban History; 3) Colonization vs De-colonization: Re-approaching Colonial Architecture and Cities; 4) Conservation vs Renewal: Re-assessing Architectural and Urban Heritages.
